Yesterday I made myself this strawberry ice-cream. I used a recipe from the book ‘Frozen Pops’ . Yesterday was the very last day of my favorite month and it was still very hot for the time of the year. So I decided to make this strawberry ice-cream.
Ingredients – for 4
– 500 g of sugar
– 250 g of egg white
– 7-8 eggs
– 150 g of strawberries
– 60 ml of whipped cream
Slice the strawberries in small pieces. Dissolve 400 g of sugar in 1dl of boiling water.
Wisk the egg white till stiff with 100 g of sugar. Then add the sugar syrup bit by bit and keep wisking until the mixture is cold.
Add the strawberries and stir them trough the mixture. Wisk the whipped cream.
Put the mixture in ice-pop forms en put sticks in it and then keep them for 7 hours in the freezer.
Instead of putting the mixture in ice-pop forms you can do the mixture inside of plastic cups and also keep them for 7 hours in the freezer. When they’re done you can eat them with a spoon as I did.
